The music

Solo concerts with classical guitar. I offer different concert programmes, often with a theme or an artistic idea to make it more coherent. The programmes are settled in collaboration with the concert arranger, but you can also find examples here.

Duo Takemitsu. Flute and guitar duo with flutist Marianne Leth. The duo was established in 1993 and has since been very active on the concert scene in Denmark and abroad. We have 4 CD's out on the ClassicO label, and premiered a number of works written for us.

Kristine Thastum trio. Established to play songs written by Kristine; strong personal lyrics and musically simple, airy and folk inspired tunes. Also cover songs in the pop/folk/roots tradition. Latest member Louise Vangsgaard on violin, viola and vocals, is a much welcome addoition to the trio sound. (website in Danish only)

Rhythm and Strings. Trio that rose from the ashes when another trio folded in august 2014. Repertoire is a peculiar mix of pop, folk, latin, rock country, singer songwriter and whatever else we throw in. We work hard to approch the songs with a fresh and new attitude, breathing new life into them. Setup is guitars, vocals and hand played percussion - no drumkit! (website in Danish only)
